Dr. Hood was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. He obtained his undergraduate at Purdue University and master’s degrees at Indiana University School of Medicine. He then completed medical school and his orthopedic surgery residency at Indiana University. After residency, Dr. Hood moved to Charlotte, North Carolina to complete his complex adult reconstruction joint fellowship at the highly regarded OrthoCarolina.
